Six Benefits Earned From Charitable Donations

Dear Friends,
What an exciting week it has been here at LMC.
We had our first week of Alpha start, it was incredible, we had over 30
guests and 20 team members. We shared good food, a talk, discussions,
and laughter. Please know that you are still welcome to join, and you
can still invite others to join as well.
We also had another food pack which went incredibly well. Thank you
to everyone who supported the food pack. It was amazing to see how
many of us worked together so swiftly to get the food packed and ready
to be distributed. It is also a great opportunity to get to know other
people.
In addition to all of these we are starting our next Deeper Learning
Experience this week Sunday, which is exciting. We will be looking at
the life of David for 5 weeks, starting with the story of David and
Goliath. Please join us as we explore the in-depth details of this ‘Sunday
school story’. We will not be able to look at this story the same after
Sunday.
I’ve also walked around and heard many people speaking about and
planning the Fete that is happening in October. This is such an exciting
time; it feels as though we are all starting to come out of our hibernation
after winter.
Not to mention our ongoing youth programs, children’s church, young
adult’s ministry, small groups. There is life all around us now with
regards to ministry. Even church attendance is picking up again after
winter.
This Sunday we continue our series of ‘My God, my God, why have you
forsaken me?’. We will be looking at one of my favourite Gospel stories,
the story where Jesus encounters the man possessed by a legion of
demons. He casts those demons into pigs and turns his life around. I
truly hope you will be joining us as we explore this incredible story of
how Jesus encounters a man completely isolated and brings him healing,
hope, and love.
