    World is Blue North Korea: The dictatorship rigidly controls all information, detaining possibly 200,000 political prisoners in this undeveloped nation. About two million have died due to food shortages. Most have never heard of Jesus. Yet Christians meet in secret knowing that if caught, they will die in a labour camp. An elderly lady came to salvation recently and is telling her neighbours about God, not fearing death or imprisonment. Most think she is senile, but some now believe. Pray for the Church to persevere and multiply amid horrific persecution.
    Friends Who Care Thirty of us met on 27th August – thrilled to have a new member, Minnie Merlyn, join us too! In August we made 227 articles to donate. This time we happily gave Pat Kerr 75 articles for “Point of Care” at Choose Life Church in Rubenstein Drive + 31 for GWC, plus some for CMR, Future Families & our prem baby beanies (29) & 6 small vests to Petro to take to Mossel Bay &/or Unitas. Thank-you to Everyone making this possible! Guest Speaker: Pat Kerr from “Grannies Who Care” gave us an inspiring talk on their monthly work in maternity wards in Kalafong where they personally hand out emergency care packs to the Mothers for their newborns. Second-hand baby clothes are also always welcome. Guest Speaker: Craig Smith from ”Souls for Shoes” – 09:15, 1st October 2024, in the Hall. All Welcome!
