About Jolly Jumblers
These sales started way back in the 1990’s, the team, some of whom have been involved since the inception, are a ‘jolly lot’! Over the years the sales have proven popular with the local community and beyond. The occasion once a month is an experience to be seen as shoppers frantically descend on the display of articles as soon as the hall doors open. “One man’s junk is another man’s joy” continues to raise funds for the maintenance and general upkeep of the property
The Purpose
The purpose of this initiative is to get the church community to tap into their creative abilities and to develop items that are sold through the Jumble Sale regularly on the first week of every month in the church hall.
The financial resources generated from this project are reserved for taking care of the church property in the form of maintenance and rehabilitation of church facilities or property
The Jolly Jumblers
Focus
The focus of this program is to collect and sell useful items as an innovative initiative to generate financial resources to upkeep the church buildings and facilities.
The items are collected right through the month and are sold every first week of the month.
Dates are communicated through the church bulletin, announcement at church and through the church communication platforms.
